The Hellenic Yacht Brokers Association (HYBA) and the
Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (HPYOA) have
the pleasure of announcing the success of the "1st
INTERNATIONAL YACHTING SYMPOSIUM" in Athens, Greece.
The event is parallel to world-renowned yacht charters events
such as Genoa and Antigua. The Symposium which was inaugurated
on the 13th of May through the 16th 2002 at Flisvos Marina,
Athens, Greece, closed officially with enormous response from
international participants, media and sponsors.
The long-awaited event offered (45) luxurious, crewed-chartered
yachts available on the Greek Market. The participating yachts
were both motor and sailing vessels. This year's event included
participation from over (100) international brokers from countries
such as France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey,
U.K. and the USA. The Symposium's Seminar Program addressed
key issues such as "Marine Tourism in Greece", "The
New Legal Status for Yachting in Greece" and "Yacht
Insurances" to name a few.
The 2nd INTERNATIONAL YACHTING SYMPOSIUM 2003 will
kick-off next May 11th through the 15th, 2003 in Athens, Greece.
