On the occasion of ATHENS 2004 Olympics and in association
with ATHENS 2004 and Athens Business
Club 2004 the well-attended luxury yachting fete
was in full swing. "YACHTING DESTINATIONS IN
GREECE" was underway in the beautifully restored
Saraglion Mansion in the heart of Athens. The elegant evening
was hosted in the Grand Ballroom by the Hellenic Center
of Investment (ELKE) and iForce Communications.
Among the many distinguished guests, Dignitaries, Ministers,
international VIPs, Yacht Owners and Brokers invited, the
topic of conversation for the evening was - 'Luxury yachting
and destinations in Greece'.
Familiar faces from the yachting world included: Mr.
Aris Drivas, President of Aris Drivas Yachting, Mrs.
Irene Antonopoulou, Partner of Koutsoukelis Yachting
and Secretary General of the Hellenic Yacht Brokers Association
(HYBA), Ms. Ioanna Tzala, Partner of Hellenic
Marine Consultants, and Mr. George Vernicos, President
of Vernicos Yachting and Vice President of the Hellenic Professional
Yacht Owners Association to name only a few.
Distinguished guests included Mr. George Mergos,
General Secretary from the Ministry of Finance, Mr.

of Mercantile Marine, Mr. Nico Yannis, CEO
of Piraeus Port Authority S.A., Mr. Vasso Vamvas,

were in attendance.
The presentation included a savvy selection of keynote speeches
